"Making the decision for daycare is a tough one for parents. Angie made that decision easy due to her friendly, supportive, professional and caring manner. Our daughter started daycare here in the Infant Room and we have been so happy. When the pandemic hit, we were concerned about her returning to daycare, but Helping Hands Westney is so diligent with protocols and safety and we feel confident in their care. If you want a daycare that feels like a community, Helping Hands Westney has been amazing. Our daughter has recently had to switch to gluten-free and the change has been easy and seamless. "Helping Hands Daycare Westney is amazing!! The supervisor, Angie, is fantastic! She has kept everyone so well informed during the pandemic and always has a welcoming smile/positive energy during morning screening. My son has been in the toddler and preschool classrooms thus far and we have nothing but positive comments for the teachers’ kindness and care. As a whole the team organizes great events throughout the year (Terry Fox walk, Christmas visit with Santa, etc) and have found ways to continue with these special activities in a safe way during the pandemic. Would definitely recommend!!"

"Like many new moms, I was very apprehensive about how my kids would do at daycare, especially that they were extremely scared of others for the longest time. Our girls have been going to Helping Hands Daycare at Westney for about 4 months now and I can honestly say, they love it there and can't wait to go back every single day. "All three of my kids have had the blessing of being cared for by the wonderful and caring child care professionals at the Westney location of Helping Hands Daycare. I have always been able to confidently go to work knowing my kids were happy, learning and that all their needs would be taken care of. Thank you to all the amazing staff throughout the years. On a practical note, the location is great for parents that need to grab the GO train or 401 to get to work (in non pandemic times of course :)

"Helping Hands is an amazing daycare. I have tried out a few centres prior to landing at HHDC. My 3 kids - ages 3,7,8 have all been cared for by the staff at the Westney location. The staff (who have been there for years) are truly tremendous. They enjoy working with each other and in turn give our children a safe space. To this day - my school aged kids love seeing their old daycare teachers and reminisce over their fond memories. Hugs and cuddles were given pre-Covid days. A bonus - they accept credit card as a payment for all those people racking up points. Hassle free. Location is great for the Go-commuters like myself (pre -Covid). If it’s a nice day (and not so tired)- you can park at the daycare and walk to the GO station. The centre is paperless as well. End of day report is emailed to the parents. They also send you a bunch of pictures throughout the day of the activities that the children have done. You can look at these pictures years later as well. Truly a keepsake. A perfect place for parents and kids. A peace of mind for parents and a fun place for the children. A win-win situation.
